This park is very nice. There's something to do for everyone! There's a basketball court, a skatepark, a restaurant, a petting zoo and the list goes on! Although it's not a good idea to go here after dark, during the day the park is a lively place for the whole neighborhood (and beyond) to come together. There are often people picnicking there and when it snows there's instantly a large number of people that go sledding off the hill close to the petting zoo. The petting zoo is very nice with a large array of animals that can normally be expected there. There are also place the children can go to learn about the animals and after that they can go play in the playground close by. At the end the day you could go to the (slightly overpriced, but cozy and still a nice place to go) restaurant. Or, you can walk 15-20 minutes and go to the heart of Utrecht! Griftpark is a nice place and I would certainly recommend going there for a picnic in the summer or simply a stroll through the park with family or friends.

Griftpark has lakes, a basketball field, a skate park and plenty of green areas to walk on. Dogs are allowed everywhere on this park.
