It's a nice charity run by full time employees and volunteers. We were given a guided tour of the facility and the background by one of the ladies working here.
You can pet the horses and give them treats. They have over 120 horses at a given time. Expect to spend about 1 to 2 hours. Entrance is free, tour was free, candies are a couple of euros, parking is free. Donations are welcome to support the cause.
Was lovely. Yoy can buy little "horse candy" and pet their beautiful faces. Even was a mighty retired police horse. From tiny shetlands to huge 17 hands, all were comfortably living out their last years. Everything was clean and neat. All run by volunteers.
A truly wonderful place for both animals and people!
