25-10-2020: Our first visit to this museum was very disappointing to us. Despite the modern appearance of the building, you expect it to be contemporary inside. Nothing could be further from the truth. No modern holograms or big names of television, just photos, some consumables from old TV stars, silly simple quizzes on a touchscreen and many, many old archive footage. In the year 2020, everyone can also simply watch this on websites such as YouTube from the comfort of your home. We saw no added value to have to visit this museum. Everything is also very aimed at children, but we found nothing attractive for adults. Logical for us now that people are going to renovate and that they want to make something more modern because this is really no longer possible in 2020. I even think that children (whom we saw a lot, wonderful without masks) will quickly give up when they see mainly (very) old statues. This was a bad experience and not worth the drive from Rijswijk. Visited all floors, but partly because of those terrible mouth masks we were also out quickly. Oudbollige museum. We hope that the new experience after the renovation will be a lot better!

Very very nice museum. It is a pity that we were somewhat limited by the time slot, we could have stayed much longer.😉 Good reason to come back
