A very interesting and historical area! The airport was a military airport for a long time. Therefore in peace time it is logical that the nature’s flora and fauna was well protected inside this large best secured piece of Dutch Twente land. From a historic point of view this is the most interesting airport in The Netherlands! In fact this is an exceptional spot where an eventual war and the peace of nature walked hand in hand for more than 75 years! Bbl. @Instagram @75YearsOfLiberation
