Everything comes at a cost, including, but not limited to: hanging your coat, going to the restroom (payment every time you go) and basically doing anything normally free. Yes, the drinks are cheap, but you're better off buying a crate of at any given supermarket, and you're both cheaper off and saved yourself the guilt of going to this dump. Aside from that, the owner hosts illegal poker tournaments (partly for personal gain) and isn't afraid of using violence to get people out when they misbehave (instead of doing what a normal bouncer would do and simply escort them out and/or calling the police).
