This place is like in fairytails and the people here have a humangus hart, they are very very nice, truly good people
Friendly, helpful welcome at a peaceful marina with all facilities and just 5mins into the centre of HASSELT with Jumbo Supermarket 10mins walk or 5mins on your bike. 40mins very enjoyable bike ride along the dijk to ZWOLLE if you want more exploration options. We decided on the quiet at Hasselt without being in the middle of a busy town and with the benefit of Fuel on the Dock. 50p Euro shower was fine too.
A very nice marina with friendly staff, superb facilities and an excellent place for winter storage if needed.
I left my dinghy in the water again this winter until winter 2021 finally got out of hand. There is water in my boat as standard so I squeezed it very badly that it would freeze to pieces, along with my outboard motor. Then the harbourmaster and his off-season colleague helped me unfreeze the lock that the boat is attached to and then paddle the boat to the crane to set it aside. AND they are going to take the motor off and store it inside. Now I can sleep again ;-) Thanks for everything! 5 stars!
