The price tag on their in-store furniture is not the price you can actually buy it for. After the seller starts calculating and you expect a discount earlier, there is suddenly € 200 extra on the price of a chair. Then if you say that you think that price is way too high, they suddenly want to give a discount of 15%. Then you still feel cheated.

On 26/07 we bought a sofa at Sanders furniture city in Zwolle. When purchasing, we indicated that our hallway is very narrow and that we were therefore excited about whether it would fit. The employee indicated that if our bed fitted, which had already been moved, then the sofa should also work. We relied on this and we bought the sofa (1,537 euros). He would come 10 weeks later. We called customer service a week before delivery. We measured everything again and expressed our concerns about whether it would really fit, but this should work, it was said. They arrived to deliver the sofa on October 5. The deliverers had not even been there for 1 minute and already indicated that this would not work. In the end, the sofa was taken along and we were invited to the store for an alternative. The best alternative was a bank where we still had to pay 760 (!) Euros because we had to pay the cancellation costs of the 1st bank. We did not agree with this. After a week of not having heard anything, we went after it ourselves. Then Sanders Meubelstad offered: Either cancel the bank where we have to pay 50% cancellation costs, or pay 25% cancellation costs and buy a new bank from them, or have the 1st bank delivered again and see for ourselves what we would do with it what again 90 euros would entail delivery costs. We felt very misled here because we have expressed so many times that we had doubts, but each time it was confirmed that we could and that we now have to face the consequences. They also only indicated afterwards that it is our OWN responsibility. Then it turned out that Sanders has a surveying service where the home is measured in advance. When we asked why this was not offered at the time while expressing our concerns about the hallways, it was said that we did not say this clearly enough. We are very annoyed by the fact that they have never thought along with us and that they pass all responsibility on to the customer. It doesn't seem their problem anymore, because we had already paid. After a lot of e-mails and telephone calls with customer service, we were done with it and we wanted to pay 25% cancellation costs without having to find out anything with them because we are not completely satisfied with the service of Sanders Meubelstad. In response, we were again told that this was not an option and that we could only choose between the aforementioned options. They literally don't meet us anywhere. We ended up going to the store to express our frustrations, where it seemed they didn't care at all and once again put the responsibility on us. We chose to have the sofa delivered again and try it ourselves, with the risk that it really wouldn't fit. We did not have to pay these 90 euro delivery costs, which was the LEAST they could do. 1 month after the first delivery, the sofa was delivered for the second time and we got the sofa up ourselves and all the stress and frustration has been for nothing. We therefore recommend that you do not just agree with what Sanders says and only pay upon delivery instead of in advance. Even if they make promises or make promises; Have this put in black on white! The company needs to improve its customer service and really look at how to best serve customers without just looking at how they themselves lose as little money as they make commitments.

Beautiful, spacious store with a diverse range. Very friendly welcome and more than fine and warmly helped by seller Manfred. Very fast delivery, and all at a reasonable price!
