We have been in the park yesterday and it starts with the parking. When you parked your car you need to walk couple minutes to teach the entry. There is a reception at the parking, but this is only for the ones who stay and want to check in. There is no sign which say not for day visitors of the park. So most people walk wrong at first time. The parking area seems to be new, because as you see on the pictures is everything just sand. No flowers no plants ;-( At the entry we paid more than 130 Euro for 2 adults and 2 children as you see on the bill. In the internet it's different, so take care. The cashier was a women, she was not so nice and didn't understand English. We left the swim bag in the car because we wanted first join the park. We arrived around 11.30 and walked inside. The first place we went inside because we where hungry was the one straight up when you enter the park. Unfortunately very expensive and as you see on the pictures most closed. The few things they offerd where not so nice. I ask for other places for eating and the cashier told us, yes on the main road and over there and over here.... But most where closed at that time. At the entry they told us that the park only opens all attractions when the park is full, now are only less people so they open only a few attractions. Mhmm?! When we had to pay, they took 25 Euro per person, doesn't matter adult or not! So we pay for a park with 50% attractions cause less people 100% price....?!?!??! Why we didn't pay 50% because only 50% or less of your park was opened?!??!?! All together can we just say that it is senseless to drive like 150-200 kilometres for that park. And never ever book this park for few days or for a complete weekend, you will loose money and waste your time. Of course are some attractions nice for children, but this park is more for gamer and gambler! As you see on the pictures is 60-70% of the park slot machines, try your luck in crane games where the crane need to be set over the item you want to have and when you press the button, than the crane his down and try to catch something. Actually is the park and the price like you pay for an Rolls Royce and you get a FIAT! Or should I say a Seat, because the familia who runs the park is from Spain, maybe to much fiesta and party with all the money instead of putting some money in the park and repair things. At around 14.00 o'clock we entered the Mexicana swim area. Nice locker room to change close. The system is not so cool, because you need to remember the number of your lock and the pin. There is a panel you need to enter what you want, than the system decide which closet you get. VERY VERY BAD! I want that we are all together at the changing room, but it doesn't work, because the system gave us 4 closet's and they have been 2 rows away. That is very BAD, you should enter a system what ask how many closet you need and than try to give them next to each other and not one here, the other one on the backside and the last I don't know where. I was in that park many years ago, I think more than 20 year's. But this here is for that price a complete disaster. I asked at reception and at the cashier for the name of CEO, boss, head office or something else to get in touch, but every worker I asked, no one can talk good English and no one can give you a right answer because they don't know. So for all the families which plan to have a nice time here, forget it! When you're around this area and have nothing to do and lots of cash with you, than go there and spend a lot of cash for trash. I love the Netherlands and the people of Netherlands extreme! I'm in Netherlands very often and there was not one time that I would say it was not nice or trash or anything like that. THIS PARK IS A DISGRACE FOR NETHERLANDS AND THE PARK!!

Very nice amusement park. I recommend it. Many nice attractions. Sometimes the lines are very long before you go into an attraction. There are also quite a few things that you have to pay for. Furthermore, the park is well-arranged and looks nice. In short, it is advisable to go there. Nice place and nice attractions.

A reasonable amusement park which unfortunately lost much of its luster over the years. Yet it is still crowded and this is noticeable by the long queues at attractions. On days when the weather is nice, queues come near larger parks like Walibi. Unfortunately, this is really too much for Slagharen. The number of attractions for the smaller children is very limited. This makes Slagharen a mediocre park.
