The very friendly owner made a space for us even though we had not booked in advance, helped us plan our travel to the centre and had recommendations for the surrounding areas. A beautiful lake side pitch was very serene and relaxing, bar serving food and drinks, park for children and swimming was possible in the lake. Toilets clean, hot showers. Easy entrance to Amsterdam by driving to the park and ride close by, then very regular trams to the centre. On the recommendation of the owner we visited Marken (there is a very ferry there to town of Volendam- also lovely) would recommend a stay at this tranquil little site so close to the Amsterdam.

Very good place to stay. All you need is provided, the view is terrific, but a little bit windy. Takes half an hour to get to the center of Amsterdam (central station)

Always stop there on our way from UK to Poland via Amsterdam. Clean campsite, quiet surroundings and good facilities. Really enjoy food in the pub. Something to do for the kids: canoe, playground and bikes for rent. Our 7 yr made it from the Campsite to Amsterdam centre and back on a bike through beautiful Durgerdam and North Amsterdam which is about 10 km both ways. Always helpful owners. Space for about 30 caravans (much more for tents) so book in advance in a peek time to avoid disappointment.
