Nice place to watch a sunset near the station

Abcoude, just a nice and beautiful village to see on foot. Just outside the village you can see a lot of nature. Polder landscape and winding rivers. Rivers such as Het Gein, Angstel, and Holendrecht are often accessible to walk past. The same applies to the Abcoudermeer. These are also easily navigable. Along the small river De Winkel there is mostly a road. The river De Winkel is only partly navigable. Namely from the lock at Jachthaven Bon, which gives access to the Vinkeveense Plassen, you can sail towards Ouderkerk, to the river De Amstel and river De Holendrecht. Many characteristic houses can still be seen in the village center of Abcoude, with the two churches already seeing their towers from afar.
