Our daughter very hard cut her hand slightly above the elbow during the vacation and two fingers stopped working for her, it can’t be described in words what stress it is when you come to think that your child could become disabled, but dr. F.J.T. van Oosterom reassured us and returned us hope he assured us that we have a great chance that our Mashele will completely restore his hand and fingers, thanks to all the staff of the hospital, especially dr. F.J.T. van Oosterom and the nurses Lenie and Lotte thanks for your warm hearts and golden hands. Thank you all!

I had a very good experience today - a lot of support, care and friendly communication.

I was referred to this hospital by the doctor. He had found that the small, red bump on my head is a hemangioma. A benign condition. It could then be removed in this hospital. Once arrived at the hospital I was told that I was actually completely wrong here and that they could not remove it because of Corona. The GP would often "not know the route". After being told this in a conversation that lasted 10-15 minutes, I was then referred to an external dermatologist and was back on the street. Now it appears that for this conversation, which only took 10-15 minutes, they charged more than € 143 !! An amount of which you would think that a treatment has been carried out, but nothing could be further from the truth. I have received a referral. The doctor has also been wrong, who should have known that I have nothing to do in the hospital and should have sent me directly to another dermatologist, one who is not located in the hospital. That would have saved me € 143. I am now going to see if I can get legal aid and I will advise against everyone to go here. Watch out for this turn of events.

One night in a ward in a hospital. A night in a ward in a hospital is no fun. It is not dark in the hall. People are talking loudly in the hallway. Devices that beep because they are malfunctioning. Nurses who walk in to temperature patients and measure blood pressure. I thought people are meant to rest to get better. Is there a chip that can be stuck to the skin that monitors the physical and mental condition of the patient? The patient's condition can be monitored in a central control room. In the event of a malfunction of a device or a complication patient, the right care personnel (nurse, doctor) can be sent immediately. After a certain time also knows exactly when the patient has to go to the toilet. This can be scheduled in the nurses' roster. Take a look at dairy cows. After each milking, a few things about the cow are noted by means of a chip. It is not impossible. In the morning a 1.5 meter cart for breakfast comes in. All kinds of different sandwiches, crackers and rusks. Cheese, meat, jam and sprinkles. The lady behind the cart asked what you wanted to eat for breakfast. I really wanted quark with fresh fruit. She didn't. Quark with strawberries already in it or plain. I chose the natural cottage cheese then. Unfortunately, there was sugar in it. And all carbohydrate-rich food on the cart. All of this is converted into sugars. Sugars stimulate inflammation. Not convenient. As a surgeon, I wouldn't want this. I thought that in a hospital you get nutrition that will help you. That it is being considered. That meals are served mainly with fresh vegetables, fruit, nuts, seeds, herbs and good fats. A few advantages: -patient knows again what healthy eating is. Try it at home too. -Less chance of infection. -Fitter because the patient gets nutrition what the body needs. With enough vitamins and minerals. -Also mental effect of colorful and deliciously fragrant and tasty food. Each bed has its own TV with headphones. Use those devices to improve the mental state of the patient. For example, through meditations, music and images that have a calming and healing effect. You can monitor this by means of chip. 30 years ago I was first in a ward in a hospital. There has only been a better TV and WiFi. Everything else has remained the same in the room.
