They don't have all the dishes in the menu. Otherwise, a good place, in a good location

Awful service: we ordered the drinks and food, they brought the drinks and then we waited. And waited... After about an hour we asked when is the food ready and the waitress said that it's coming when it's coming. After another 20min still no sight of food so we decided to leave. The view is nice on the terrace.

I think the worst place to eat in Haarlem. It might be tempting to sit by the water but really, I wouldn't recommend.. We sat, in 5 mins we were approached 3 times what we want to order (nice) but then we had to wait 15 mins for the actual possibility to order food. When we finally did, it already seemed like the waitress is confused and might mess up the order (which btw, wasn't that complicated - 4 different pancakes and portion of fries..). When the food arrived my pancake doesn't even look nice... I ordered half with cheese and ham, the other half with cheese and mushrooms. Didn't notice ANY ham there and only few mushrooms. The inside wasn't even well cooked. At the same time it was burned. We had to wait for utensils which waitress just put on the table (we also asked for napkins twice as there were not any anymore on the table..). Friends' pancakes were a bit better but far from perfect. Banana/nutella one was burned also. And as we got 3 pancakes, and one friend was without food the waitress just asked if she also wanted something and of course she did want something, they just messed up the order COMPLETELY! So my friend had to wait few more minutes till they did her pancake. Ah, and I think it's worth mentioning that we did not receive fries AT ALL. They just forgot about it. VERY poor service, poor quality of food, not recommending at all!
