Michiu

This is what you get for EUR 43 :( The order arrived completely destroyed, and they forgot to put some of the items I ordered. I really love the taste of their food, and I enjoyed going to the restaurant when it was allowed to sit guests. But their takeaway and delivery service unfortunately sucks. Every time there is some kind of issue: order is mixed up, order is late, order arrives damaged... It used to be a really top-level restaurant, and I hope they can improve.

It's nice inventive food and the service is good. A little pricey (most likely due to its proximity to the RAI conference center), but I would recommend it.

Maybe the best sushi in Amsterdam. Great atmosphere and service. A gem of a place in Rivierenbuurt.

I hate to leave bad reviews, but for the service we received at Michiu I will do it a thousand times over. As soon as we walked in, the staff were guilt tripping us for overbooking. We apologized multiple times, but the man kept mentioning how many bookings he had to cancel because of us and so on. I understand how frustrating that must be, but we seriously thought we would have more people coming. The lady was extremely rude, throwing glasses on our tables instead of placing, cutting us off before we even finished our sentences. The tension was real! In addition to this, our food took more than an hour to arrive. We did not receive our food together, it took 10-15mins in between dishes. Also, they left out one of the orders and basically told us we did not order the item. Not to mention they tried to charge us for items that was not brought to the table! I am leaving one star, because the food was pretty darn good and also because I do not have an option not to.
