Vice Versa

We lived in Amsterdam for 5 years and this was one of our favourite bars. Great atmosphere and cocktails! We really miss it.

A lovely bar with a homey feeling to it, the perfect place to chill with a beer after a day walking around Amsterdam. The owner is very friendly and makes excellent cocktails!

What a brilliant find this was! We were visiting from London and had dinner down the road. We were looking for a nice cocktail to round out evening off and Vice Versa was close by. We got in and there were a few people inside, but rather quiet. Almost immediately the other patrons at the bar began chatting to us, with the bar tender jumping in to join the conversation too. The bar tender, who ended up being the owner, is a lovely guy originally from Israel. He had such a lovely, chilled and welcoming way about it. We ended up staying for 3 cocktails each, they were delicious and the vibe was super cool ~ perfect ending to our weekend in Amsterdam!
