I visited Vascobelo daily as my work is very close by. Overall nice place, few people from the staff are very nice (while others should change job as quite rude). The reason for the 1star is the price for coffee: The management increased the price 2 times in less than 1 year. Today a TAKE AWAY Cappuccino is more than 4€. As I drink min 3 coffee a day I decided to stop visiting Vascobelo and keep my money for better use... a pity.

Normally very happy at any Vascobelo but last week was a sloppy experience. Ordered two times a-non alcoholic blond beer and when I got up I clearly felt tipsy and so did my girlfriend. We still had to drive for two hours, hence no alcohol. They admitted their mistake but didn't do anything about the check, it should have been a 0 euro bill. We went to Loetje on the other side of the street for diner to basically let wear of the alcoholic effect. I was very very annoyed to get intoxicated with alcohol when I specifically asked for non acoholic beverages!

Good ambiance if there are enough people. The food was pretty expensive for what you get but it being Amsterdam South this wasnt too unexpected. Some more salt on the food would have gone a long way.

Excellent coffee served by a very friendly waiter. Atmosphere is cozy, house like and classy. Cakes are fresh. Would highly recommend. I will come back!

Bad service and very unprofessional staff. Price/quality out of proportion. Pity since the atmosphere is not bad, but the service is definitely the biggest drawback.
