Usually I like this place but today some fruit in my bowl was a bit off (not rotten but not fresh either). When I told this the first reaction was denial. After that I showed some remaining fruit the reaction was that 'it can happen'. Bit weird reaction if you are a slightly pricey lunch place;)

Mediocre food, lousy service at premium price. Orders came with several mistakes, when it took too long to rectify, we cancelled part of it. The cancellations still showed up on our bill. They weren't difficult about fixing it, but took no effort in apologising or taking responsibility. We'll not be coming back.

We just had lunch here today with our family, which we booked a specially because the website advertised it as a kids friendly restaurant. Not only was it the most child unfriendly place we have ever been to, the waitress was very rude to us when complaining that our boys were making to much noise. When I apologized for the noise and tried to mention the fact that I didn’t appreciate the way she had approached us, she snapped at me and kept interrupting me mid sentence. There is no need to ever be that hostile to a customer, or any person whatsoever.

First things first: these guys make a banging apple pie. Wow. Very good. Unfortunately the rest of the food we ordered was a bit disappointing. The bread used for some of the sandwiches was sliced very thinly, which made for a bit of a soggy experience. However, if you're in the neighborhood and are craving something sweet, the apple pie is absolutely worth a try!
