We have similar experiences as Anna Bella. My partner eventually went abroad to her parents after not being helped with some severe medical symptoms at this GP. He Just kept muddling on for months all though saying he didn't know what to do he constantly kept dismissing what it could be that she came up advised by MD friends of us. Abroad a female doctor immediately said what it was and tested for it and was right. Sadly by then it was quite severe. She needed to take 2 different anti-biotics in heavy dosages and a bunch of other pills for a month and quite possible because of him waiting to long can't get children anymore. With me my specialist even said "Next time do not muddle around again with that GP but make him send you in immediately because he doesn't know the difference between a common cold and a heart attack. We have left to another GP and are quite happy now.
