citizenM Amsterdam South Hotel

I had an amazing stay experience with this hotel. Truly wonderful. Nice employees, fresh food, advanced technology in rooms.

I booked two nights for a business meeting and a change of scenery as I've been working from home since early March. CitizenM is always my favorite hotel to visit (I've visited the ones in Schiphol and Paris). This was my first time visiting Amsterdam South, and I can tell you I've fallen in love with the place! Beautiful lobby, location is 2 minute walk from the bus and train station, the staff are SUPERB (seriously, every single one of them amazing people with bubbly friendly personalities), the room is the pinnacle of comfort! Special shout out to Elton & Rosy (all the ambassadors are amazing) for making me feel less alone after working hours, and offering the best service. I highly recommend their cocktails (which is served/consumed before 8 pm due to covid restrictions). The staff serving breakfast were amazing too, and the cappuchino and grand breakfast were a great way to start my work day. The hotel is kept very clean and the room was disinfected before my arrival. The view of the back garden was very peaceful (the trees made great background scenery) and I love love love all the CitizenM facilities. Huge bed, fluffiest of pillows, warm blanket, fantastic rain shower with changable led lights, good climate control that you can adjust, and always a fabulous amount of new movies at your disposal. Also the wifi is very fast and more than enough for my work VPN. I will be back in 2021, I wish I could come back sooner! Who knows. :)

Unique and simply wonderful place to stay while visiting everything Amsterdam has to offer.

Small, but highly efficient rooms in a very modern, very casual environment for work travellers. I liked the quick and efficient check in and check out. The breakfast was good and the fact that you can get coffee and drinks all day is great. The staff was cool. This isn't a five star hotel experience and you're not going to get crazy amenities. Instead, you get a very comfortable bed and efficiency.

CitizenM is one of my favourite chains. Half the room consists of a huge bed, what more soul you need? Also they are dealing very well with the Corona rules in the Netherlands.
