Monumental
A very beautiful monument, with a lot of history behind it. Just a few minutes walk from Beethovenstraat.
This monument has been restored, ie cleaned by the municipality ❌❌❌ after vandalism earlier this month June 202🙃 I wonder whether that destruction has contributed to anything. Should I be ashamed of the VOC years because I am Dutch? Or because my grandfather was a colonial administrator? My grandfather chose that study because he could get a job that way and didn't have to pay a lot of tuition. As the 3rd son in a family of 6 children in Zwolle with a single mother (dad had of course left with the Noorderzon including another woman ... ... So there was very little money to spend. And the eldest son already took care of the housework money 💪🏼🙄😐
