As it should be. There is absolutely no pretense just great ingredients made to shine by an excellent chef. The service and the way the dishes are served is rare to find, especially in NL. Wouldn’t change a thing!

You can enjoy sophisticated Kaiseki style Japanese with tasteful Sake.
One of the best places I have ever been in general. Intimate and quiet. Delicious food, wonderful drinks with a fine dining/home-y feel to it. The staff is humble and polite as can be. I can keep on typing, but this place has instantly become my favorite place to dine. Well done!
Great experience. Super friendly, cooking is superb. Very enjoyable. And very fair pricing. No choice, just a daily menu. Wouldn't have missed it for the world. My advise: if case you get your opportunity, take it. You will not be disappointed, for sure!
We ate here a week ago and are still reminiscing our very comforting and delicious experience.
Kaiseki are supposed to be small restaurants with plenty of small dishes and a familiar, relaxing atmosphere.
As our first Kaiseki experience, Oshima did not disappoint.
It was like coming home to your grandmother and her cooking, if your grandmother was lovely and a great cook.
Our 8-course menu was an absolute treat, and the hostess bathed us in hospitality.
We left with satisfied stomachs and palates, and feeling relaxed as though we'd had a long spa session.
Can't wait to go back!
