Good amount of book and dvd offer, but sometimes there are a lot of young people causing a lot of noice and that might be anoying depending on your purpose there
Since a few weeks I occasionally come back to the library in the center. The old familiar atmosphere can no longer be experienced unfortunately. The Corona crisis also has major consequences here. Now maximum 6 people at the reading table. That was often twice as much between 3pm and 4pm on weekdays. Yes, sometimes very busy and loud conversations, discussions, which not everyone appreciated, both visitors and staff, but which also showed how important this place in the heart of Alkmaar is for many! Let's hope that the weather will be pleasantly busy in some time!

Nice library
Nice open library with clear topics. The only drawback is that you are stuck there for hours because you just can't get out :)
Even in this Corona time people make the best of it. Helpful patient staff
