Last January I had a taxi hedge of about ten meters built for € 1000. I had it done because I didn't want to take a risk, taxus is not cheap. That is why I was asked on delivery if I still had to take something into account, give water or something, no that wasn't necessary. In the summer it was already noticeable that there was quite a difference between the different trees, in color, size of the needles, and a few turned brown. In the meantime, three trees are completely dead, the rest is also not beautiful. Called if they could come and have a look. Someone comes, stirs his fingers a little over the ground under the tree, and exclaims: yes, logical! The soil is completely dry !. What nonsense, 1. the soil was not dry, because a few hours ago it rained a bit, and 2. more importantly: it is not about how the soil is on the surface, but where the roots are! You will have to dig a little if you want to know if there is a water shortage for a plant. So I went against it, but it was clear that he only came to clean his street, it was my fault, I had not given water. He made it clear that he had better leave, nothing could be achieved. What a worthless company! I think they had scattered some surplus trees here and there, that could explain the big difference between the different specimens. Those dead trees will probably have had too few roots. Fraudsters. My advice: do not do business with these people.

After 25 years I wanted a different garden. Tighter, more modern and easier to maintain. Steven, thank you very much for the beautiful design, your plan of action and the entire implementation thereof. I am very satisfied with the final result of my garden and I enjoy it every day.
