Christel’s work is flawless. I have commissioned/purchased 9 birds from her, and each one is simply exquisite and so life-like. I should know, as I’m a painter and use her birds as models for my paintings—so I observe them very closely! She is very quick to respond to messages and timely in getting commissions finished. The packages for these delicate objects is carefully done, and all have arrived safely. I also appreciate that she is a bird lover and that all her birds are ethically sourced. Did the ostrich chick workshop at The Breathless Zoo. Here you set up your own ostrich chick that you can take home afterwards. Christel guides you step by step through the process of setting up and provides comprehensive answers to all the questions and helps you where necessary. She also shares many tips and tricks. In addition, Christel and Willem are very hospitable and we had a delicious lunch. Very educational and very nice experience with the end result a beautiful ostrich chick for home, definitely recommended!

I had a bird set up by The Breathless zoo twice. For this I was looking for a long time for a taxidermist who can set up birds in a playful and lively way. The love for animals is really reflected in their work. I would recommend The Breathless zoo to everyone !! But be careful; it's addicting. Before you know it you have a house full of stuffed animals haha.
