Museum KRONA

Interesting museum on religious art in a wing of an inhabited monastery. The collection consists of various religious art objects from the Netherlands. Special works include medieval monstrances and sculptures. Due to the lack of space, only a small part of the collection can be on display. For this reason, the setup is changed regularly. The herb garden can also be visited, which was constructed thirty years ago as a medieval ‘cruydthof’. There are over 150 plant species.

Nice museum, nice location. Temporary exhibition the green Middle Ages very beautiful and when using audio guide also instructive. The permanent collection is also worth it. The use of the mirrors in the treasure room is surprising. The new course that has been taken seems promising.
