It's a fun place. We are exploring the forest there. There's a route where dogs can go without a leash and also a route for kids, with some hidden playgrounds. There's a lot to explore and the kids (also the dog) are happy to walk along.

In addition to more than 20 types of pancake variants with Bacon AND with Cheese and of course classics with Syrup, Powdered sugar, etc. also a nice range of Specials. I decided to go for the pancake "Chicken Coop". A pancake with (of course) pieces of chicken, satay sauce, onion, pineapple and prawn crackers (actually there is also Atjar, but I left that out). The presentation surprised me but eventually turned out to work perfectly to actually push the whole thing in. The Prawn Crackers were a bit chewy, which I thought was a shame, the biggest downside, however, was that some of the pancakes were baked a bit too long or maybe even burnt to my liking. This dominated the taste of the Chicken and Saté. Nevertheless, it turned out to be a dish that worked surprisingly well and that, despite the 2 hiccups, also tasted and filled well. In addition, the service was fast and friendly and there was enough space to sit quietly. The nearby play forest and adjacent playground also offered great options for the little ones (1.5 yrs). In addition, the beer menu was led by beers from Lindeboom, a brewery that, in my experience, you do not see too often in the hospitality industry. Although the types of beers available were the "logical" choice (Blond, Dubbel, Tripel, Bock, Wit, etc.) it was nice to see something different than Affligem, La Trappe or Leffe.
