Loonse en Drunense Duinen

The largest dunes in Europe. We have been coming here for many years. Walking in this vast landscape is wonderful, also to get a breath of fresh air. Many route options to cycle with your mountain bike. They also have a huge node network to ride in with your normal bike. In one word wonderful!

A Desert in the middle of an Oasis. Interesting place to walk and enjoy a different experience than what you would normally have. Sand dunes and well marked walking tracks make it an enjoyable experience for the entire family. There is a MTB track and a horse riding track for enthusiasts and also large area for dogs to run around. Access best by car or by bike for those who are so inclined.

Lovely area to take a stroll, have a picknick or just play and romp around. Whether you like the forest, moorlands or sand drifts, this place offers it all for a day long of pleasure, leisure and relaxation.

We where there on a nice and sunny day , we walked a round through the dessert of brabant. And really enjoyed it! :)

One of the nicest nature areas in Holland. Can get a bit busy, but hey it's Holland... There's a nice walk where dogs can walk free as well. The water could be bad quality with algae so check the signs and keep your dogs away from it if neccesary.
