I buy wines from Sauter since I arrived in Maastricht 30 years ago. I still have wines from this period in my stock, some of them at that time below 5 Euro and still alive and kicking, still a pleasure. Of great importance to me: the tasting notes always reliable and honest. Even when I was skipping the regular and broad tastings (which happened most of the time) there was a basis for choosing wines fitting my preferences, tastes and - not least important - wallet :-)

The unique location with the special wine cellar, the range of wines and the excellent quality-price ratio, the friendliness of the staff and their expertise. Buying wine from Sauter means (re) experiencing a blissful holiday moment. Sauter Wines is therefore definitely worthy of 5 stars.
