A nice area with a fence to walk with your dog
Within Maastricht a great place to let your dog run free, but it is no more than a refined pasture with a walking path. Generally friendly, but unfortunately not all dogs are under apple. Very busy on weekends and every day around 11-12 there is one (or two) dog walking service with 10 dogs. Quite fierce when such a pack approaches a small dog or puppy. And cleaning up poo better people ...

Nice loose area
At the top of the Sint-Pietersberg limestone plateau is a fenced-in dog-walking area (approximately 100 x 200 meters) with benches and picnic tables. You can sit back and enjoy the view while the dogs play with each other.
You can park (paid) in the parking lot at Chalet Bergrust (halfway the Luikerweg). Dogs are very welcome here. The release area is located at the end of the Luikerweg (on top of the Sint-Pietersberg).
