Visited this place 22nd of Februari 2020. Short version: it was very good for the amount of money it costs. Slightly longer version: So we started with sushi and when we did, some trays were empty, but there were two cooks making more. The rice was slightly underseasoned, but at the same time this did allow for the other flavors of the sushi to be more present. All in all, especially for someone who has tasted real japanese sushi in japan, i would rate this sushi a 7/10. The portions were small enough to be able to get many different tastes, yet not so small, that they were tiny. Mind you, a 7 out of 10 is about the highest as i would ever rate non-native-japanese-sushi. Regular japanese sushi generally scores an 8 and anything above is so exclusive and expensive... well you cant get that in The Netherlands. The pasta and Pizza section we skipped. Mainly because the dishes looked like they were kept under the heat lamps for too long. The cheeses looked shriveled and slightly overheated. The chinese part of the foods was great. Peking-duck, really well prepared. Cha-sui, ha kou, sui-mai, de-li-cious! For some reason, the japanese style skewered chicken-teriyaki was in the chinese section, but that did not affect taste at all. it was great. a seperate bowl of sauce to add even more flavor to the perfectly roasted chicken. It was great. We skipped the wok because well... we went for more sushi next round, we just couldn't resist all those magnificently made sushi's. And they added different variations with deep fried shrims and asparagus or whatever it was, but the 2nd round of sushi was even slightly better then the first. Lastly the drinks and deserts: Amazing. There was however no ice-cubes for the drinks, but there was a large selection of various drinks. As for the deserts... WOW! So much choice, one could literally not eat all of them without having to come back a 2nd time. The choices were amazing. What tickled my fancy most, were the strawberries. Big, sweet and radiantly red. Ive rarely ever had strawberries that good. Added a huge tuft of whipped cream on top, which was not overly sweet and did not have that chemical taste of some pre-made bottled whipped creams. Money well spent! Will definately return! As for ambiance, its big, but they did a wonderful job of decorating and reducing sound-reverb. Lots of (plastic) plants, lots of wall and ceiling decorations. Even with like 200 people present, it was not neccesary to have to yell in order to have a conversation. Very pleasant ambiance indeed!
