Ideal for campervans but very loud in a tent from what sounds like a freight train through the day possibly the barges starting at 3am followed by their Donkey that thinks its a cockeral with its 5am wakeup call so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. Facilities are to pay for .50 euro for showers and dish washing which is reasonable but often having to queue as only 2 showers on site and 2 toilets which are usually out of toilet roll so suggest you bring your own also beware of the grasscutter who thinks he is Mark Van Eldik drifting around your tent oblivious if your cooking stove is going adding a nice garnish topper as he flies around but you get what you pay for cheap and cheerful and the owners are super friendly
Very nice family running the place - we had a pleasent stay. The showers and toilets are clean, warm and bright. Also very affordable! We will stay here again when visiting Groningen.
Very nice and helpful family who run the beautifully situated and well-kept campsite with bicycle distance into the center of Groningen.
Very friendly stuff and helpful. Toilet, shower etc all brand new. Very clean here.
