The Student Hotel Groningen

The check in was easy and fast! Room is cozy, clean and well appointed. Even though I find the corridors a bit dark. Breakfast was simple but it hit the spot. I like the takeaway concept. All in all a great stay and good value for money.

Came here with the Summervibes code, so we also had access to a kitchen (not the closest kitchen, but one many doors away), which had been left to the responsibility of the students living there and was not clean. Everyone was friendly and the room was clean, but we did miss an in-room coffeemaker. We had a great view from the 4th floor, so I can only imagine how good the view would be from the 9th. Also, the groundfloor unisex bathroom needs some help... 1 male stall was locked and the other was... well... vomit worthy.

Lively hotel full of students interacting with guests. Plenty of amenities & work spaces with high speed WiFi, plus the staff are incredibly accommodating & friendly. I stayed here for 1-yr & it was an amazing platform to begin my time in the Netherlands. Not the cheapest but in this case you do get what you pay for (Covid depending of course)

Very comfortable and cosy. Good service. Lifts were too busy and breakfast is not a real buffet, the food is already given and you can repeat but it is not a buffet.

The rooms are nice but the cleanliness is really not good here. Came into the room and there were still hair in the shower, dust in all the cupboards and a toenail lying in the ground. We asked to get it cleaned again, toenail and hair are still there.
