Apollo Hotel Groningen

Great hotel. The décor of the hotel is really nice and the beds are perfect. I had a take away breakfast in the morning and it was really fresh with a warm croissant and some fresh fruit. The room has everything you need and the staff is very helpful in anything else you might need. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Great stay in an amazing room with all the amenities one could want. Great sense of safety with all covid measures and disinfect points and instructions. Upon arrival the room was beautifully decorated and spotless! Breakfast had a plethora of options, tasty and plentiful. Both check in and check out were swift easy and very enjoyable. Will be back!

I booked a one night stay with the 'Chef's Experience' directly via the website for my girlfriends birthday. Via an upselling email I purchased parking. When checking in I learned that there was a promotion on social deal with the same diner and free parking. The Chef's Experience' was not really an experience. The main course was rice with a flavored sauce same as all other guests. There was no explanation from the waiter what were being served. The room was decorated for my girlfriend and there were two cocktails waiting for us which was very nice. Feedback there is to not use adhesive tape to hang up decorations, as they fell off and looked sad. My feedback; make guests who book directly on your website (and usually pay more) feel special and appreciated for doing so. Make sure they get what they are paying for in order to encourage them to keep booking directly in the future.

Interesting hotel. Everything as expected. Nice bridge between buildings.

Great place to stay few nights. Though a little pricey, it is one of the best price/quality ratio you can get in Groningen. It is though pretty far from center. Anyways, parking near hotel is free (centre is car free so leave your car somewhere else) and you get a choice to book underground parking, there is close bus stop(line 10 to train station) and they do rent bicycles.
