Sent my package back to Spain after four days - we'll never see it again. PostNL couldn't do anything about it anymore.
It is that my packages are delivered here as standard, otherwise I would never have come here years ago.
Tonight was another particularly good example: if your package is in storage for longer than a week, it will be returned. Around the turn of the year I would receive a few packages, and I was absent for a few days. This was within the period that packages are sent back, but it happens regularly that I do not receive a "not at home" message. Not in the mailbox, not by e-mail, and when you call PostNL is desperate. But it has happened four times in recent months that there was a package at this postnl point.
With this story I also went to this Postnl point, because it is quite a hassle when packages from overseas return.
This was also the first time that I "just" came by, otherwise I would have received a "not at home" message from another package and the other package was found by chance.
It turned out that there was no package, wouldn't you think so?
No, This time I was told not to drop by if I did not receive a message that a delivery attempt had been made.
I then explained what the situation was, that messages were missing more often, etc., especially in the last few months.
I have not received a message four times in three months, but there was something wrong with the Korreweg 190. Four times, that would mean that I had received a package at this Postnl point four times, but would not pick it up because there was no message. And then I am apparently annoying now, and have to leave soon because I waste time? The entire conversation was extremely unfriendly and compelling, there was no understanding of my explanation, no one even listened to me. The young man with the glasses at the counter kept on whining like a broken LP record that I should not come back without not home, and that I should call Postnl about the status of my packages. They often do not know if the delivery person does his job, and filing complaints with Postnl does not help either. Otherwise it was already solved with the first two calls. I have repeatedly told that I called with Postnl, and that they could not tell me if the delivery person did not do his job. But that was not accepted by the young man with glasses, weird stuff.
Long story short: postNL itself does not deliver good packages, the employees at this Postnl point have no understanding of the situation and continue to rigidly and rigidly tune up a tune so that I don't get it in my head to even think about it to come by again without notice.
I am curious when the fifth time is that I will not receive a message about a delivery attempt. For today, at least I have not received a non-home message in my mailbox, and also no e-mail or tracking update.
In addition, it is too often the case that the packages cannot be found, it sometimes seems as if something has to be completely removed from a secret basement. Sorting the packages is certainly not a success.
Addition: Another nice thing about this story is that I called in advance if there are packages in front of me. No information about that could be made.
So I have a postman who doesn't do his job, Postnl itself who doesn't care, and a Postnl point that can't or won't provide information and to top it off I also try to read the lesson if I want check if there really is no package. Weird stuff.
Been twice, twice bad experience. Really such a small shop where they charge extra if you want to withdraw money. And if I get there with a letter, then it will not be accepted, but it must be delivered in a letterbox elsewhere in the city. Please note: this is a postal agency. Well I ask you ...
