Unfortunately, it was the worst experience in a restaurant. The service was extremely slow, it took almost three hours to serve three dishes. I had to call the nanny to extend the agreed time. Regarding the food, entrance, and soup was okay, nothing in special but not bad either. The main dish was a disaster, one little piece of meat (reindeer). When I looked at first, I was disappointed, but when I ate it I was glad. It wasn't tasty at all. The other meat (hare), it is better not to describe it. One day after came the unbelievable and unacceptable act from the restaurant administration. They sent an email asking my wife to do a review. She was kind giving an unrealistic 7 out of 10 and made a constructive polite remark. Someone from the restaurant called and shouted on her as she was lying that we waited for that much. It is a place to NEVER come back.

Good fine dining. I really enjoyed my 5 course set menu here. They clear use fresh local sessional ingredients. I also had the wine pairing and while the wines were very good I think this would possibly afford them getting a Michilen star along with some of the execution on a dish or two. That said it is a special place and I would recommend for a great evening of dining. I will be visiting again and soon.

It is good, but for the price and reputation I expected more. The chef, according to staff, was not open to feedback. Some dishes were overdone, too many elements on the plate (hot,cold,foam,crunch,etc). I love to explore the plate, hate to get distracted or lost in it. Service awesome. Enjoyed ourselves.

Still the best restaurant in Groningen. Think I have visited 5 times now, never a disappointment. There is no menu, you just get what the chef came up with that week. But no worries, the kitchen team knows what they are doing.
