Probably one of the best restaurants in Groningen. The food is very good, nice selection of wines and cheese. Perfect service and pleasant ambience. Prices are reasonable. Can only recommend it.
Very nice experience recommended by the Michelin Guide. We give 4 stars out of 5 maiy for two reasons: (1) the service is not comparable to other restaurants mentioned by the Michelin Guide itself (long wait, lack of clarity in menus, understaffed personnel), (2) we tried the cheese selection but there were less types of local cheese than we expected.
Lovely restaurant, food is very tasty, some unique mixes, beautifully presented, however had to ask for menus after being seated for a while with no one attending to our party, also had to ask for drinks, water etc, staff not very attentive, but tried their best being friendly, one guest did not like anything on the menu so the waitress offered to make some plain steak which was very nice.
Everything was very good. They offer dining a la carte or set menus from 3 to 6 courses.
Great food. Top class. The staff was helpful and knowledgable. Only had one vegetarian option though which felt a bit off with regard to their ambition to be state of the art traditional cuisine. If they want to be on top of things they better mix a few vegan dishes into the foam and become a part of the solution - not the problem.
