This store in the Netherlands is different from at home in Australia, but also the same or similar. Produce and products are different becauseof the different country but the basics are the same. Prices seem similar, but I'm not a seasoned traveler in Europe.
In itself it should be a cheap store. Also because you have to take it out of the packaging yourself. Or at least it used to be, because that's why you went to an aldi. Nowadays the store is more expensive than the AH or Jumbo and everything is neatly unpacked on the shelves. The aldi has certain things that you can buy for a good price. But in general you are more expensive than at the AH, Jumbo or Dekamark. What I cannot fully understand, went to the aldi to get your groceries there for a good price. But those days are over. In Vaassen there are often not all products or there are pump trucks in front of the products. Not very useful if you have to, no problem if someone would be there. But often no one is there.
I think it's a nice store, staff are always friendly
