Clean, cozy, quit and well curated only offering the basic camping needs but in a superb way. Ideal for who loves nature and culture in the direct vicinity.

Went to stay with a group of friends, overall experience was horrible. The owner told us to go away and when we inquired why, we were told were not ideal clientele for the place. Blatant racism. Next day we went to another campsite in the vicinity.

Confrontation with owner After a long day on the "big river path" I arrived at the Duivelsberg. At the pancake restaurant they recommended "Minicaping Wylerbeg" to sleep, the only camping in the area. After a 10 minute walk I arrived at the campsite in good spirits and rang the bell. The owner came up and said it was already after 20:00 and they are actually closed. In addition, he had visitors. He told me to find a spot “on the field behind the cars”. I walked obediently to the field and started to pitch my tent. Ten minutes later, the best gentleman comes by to tell me that my tent was on the wrong field. He had meant the field on the other side of the cars. Not the side where I had placed my tent. This is where the conflict started. The owner pretended that I already knew that I had put my tent on the wrong field. I was stunned to hear this statement and told him it really hadn't happened on purpose. Mister couldn't believe this. After all, I could have seen it myself. I maintained my position that it had really happened by mistake. The owner then kindly requested me to look for another campsite around 20:30 after a 35km hike (which of course was not there). Too bad this has happened. I would like to see the view of owner. Maybe he just had a bad day or something bad happened. The campsite looks neat and the location is very nice ..

Nice small campsite, located on the moraine south of Berg en Dal, near the German border. Warm welcome. Excellent corona policy around the clean, modern sanitary building. Nothing to be desired for a long distance hiker.
