Bed and breakfast in Nijmegen

This is two apartments above a shop in a traditional style Dutch house. We stayed in la rose, or the whole of the top floor. Stairs are very steep buy this just adds to the character. The apartment itself consisted of a well appointed lounge, bedroom and kitchen/bathroom. There are original features like chandeliers which add to the character. There are also two small balconies, one at the front with views over the bustling street and the old clock tower. The back balcony is being quiet looking into the backs of the local houses. The owners stock the fridge with lush breakfast items and you're left alone to fend for yourself. The location is perfect, 10 mins walk from the train station and right in the old part of town which has the most character. The medieval market square is two mins up the road and well worth a visit. This is the second time we've stayed here and it didn't disappoint in any way. Very recommended.
