Lovely laidback cafe where you can enjoy incredible and special coffee! One of the best coffees we've had. Marcel and staff do a great job of giving you a warm welcome, which is exemplified by the number of customers that visit every 5 minutes! If you're in the area, this cafe is a no-brainer - 11/10.

Knus has a wonderful promotion with delivery bike for breakfast and / or brunch. So we order a brunch for Sunday, do not buy extra groceries because after all, we are being pampered by Knus. Unfortunately the brunch is not delivered to the Knus cargo bike, and Knus does not respond to messages either. In my opinion this young company does not deserve a living, and yes, now I go to the store for some groceries.

Because of the high score here, we decided on our last day of the holiday in Friesland, to have a cup of coffee at Knus. And indeed, what a beautiful and warm interior, especially contemporary. Still, we didn't feel so welcome because of the waiter who couldn't get rid of a smile. Not even a wrinkle at the corners of the mouth. He was quite short and seemed a little disinterested. We did not receive a menu but were allowed to pass on our choice immediately. The tea, flat white and nice thick slice of cake were very good, but we passed a second order. Unfortunately.

When we arrived the tables were still dirty, doesn't matter of course it was being cleaned when we just sat down. Then we were asked if we already know what we want without having a menu? So we ask for the menu but we didn't get the time to think about what we wanted. After that we were immediately asked if we wanted food with it. Anyway we ordered drinks after a few minutes later we order the food, nachos and a slice of cake. We waited for an hour, 3x we were told 'the nachos are coming' and 'almost finished'. At one point we were a bit fed up, so we decided to leave without eating. The reason we got for this long waiting time was something in the direction of 'the cheese had to melt well'. Usually I understand people who work in the catering industry, it is always busy, but after an hour of waiting I did not receive a simple meal, while other people who ordered food after us, we were a bit done with it. Looking at the interior, it is a cozy place and the staff is friendly. Also the coffee was very nice. EDITING AFTER 5 PM: Thanks for the quick response. We may stop by again when we are in the area. I think it is a good solution and thanks again for the quick response, it is rare that reviews are seriously listened to.
