It's a good place to eat, though next time I'll prefer to take a seat that has normal chairs, as the lounge spots aren't too great for tall people. The service was not perfect, but there's very nice staff working there. There is a broad choice in food and drinks, we chose to start with a Cabernet Sauvignon as we wanted to go for the steak. We got a small bread with some seasoned butter, and a soup I took the pea soup. It was a good soup but nothing special. For mains we got the steak, I took the monsieur steak which was a 200gram piece of amazingly cooked steak, though I asked for medium rare on the rare side, and got a full medium steak. It was still good as I asked for Chimichuri with it, which alwaya is a good extra flavour for meats. After this we decided not to get a dessert as we had enough and were full. A very good place to eat!

The service was bellow average to say least. The waiters had no clue when our drinks were empty and when we wanted a new one (there were 4 tables and 3 waiters), we had to mention it ourselves after waiting 20 min. Regarding the food, the salmon and saté we ordered were fine. However, the meat dishes (mixed grill/steak) were under the heating lamp to long and were too dry. This is the second time we experienced this. Finally the price/quality ratio wasn't to satisfactionary either ( €186 / 4 people / starter and headcourse). In conclusion, my family and I woudn't recommend this restaurant.

The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. Is my favorite restaurante in leeuwerden. What makes it so great is the atmosphere of the bar and specially the amability and the character of the service specially Marlem she is great.

Reserved in the beautiful garden with 6 adults and 4 children. Upon entering we were informed that a lot of rain was coming and we could not sit outside. Was a hassle. We persisted, because I already saw on rain radar that there was almost or no rain. Inside we find it too dark and with 4 little ones under 6 totally unsuitable. The food was fine. Yummy. After 1 order of fresh orange, it turned out that we couldn't get more fresh orange after that. Oranges on. Not to understand. Then ordered a bottle of apple juice with a straw for the children. NO straws available. You can have up to 1000 of them in stock. Operation very sloppy. Where we asked for 2 plates because of sharing a grilled cheese sandwich for the kids, we got it on 1 plate. The same happened with a few desserts that we wanted to share. No napkins on the table with the starter. I think we walked up and down 10 times to get something (plates, napkins, cutlery, asking to take an order, etc) 2 people from the ministry who do not know whether there are children's menus. So never back here.
