Pier Pander Museum

A special discovery in the Prinsentuin was already the little 'temple' with the special sculptures of Pier Pander, which was set up with enormous expressiveness in the round central building. It appears that a very, albeit, small museum is dedicated to the sculptor. This is one of the many surprises in Leeuwarden. For those who want to go a little further than the beaten track, a visit to both is highly recommended.

A very small museum, somewhere in the princes garden with mainly plaster works by Pier Pander. The museum year pass is not valid here, we were told at the ticket office, but that was made up for by an entrance fee of 2 euros. A little further on there is also a small chapel with three more works by Pier Pander. The entrance is free there.

Nice to watch an hour if you happen to be in the area.

It is a complete museum with everything from Pier Pander. But I could not complete the day here. Nice to have a look.
