I had been busy with music for a while. I wrote a year own songs and have even recorded a song in a studio. When I got positive responses I started going seriously think about what I want in music. One thing was certain that I wanted singing lessons. My idea was to take a trial lesson at several singing schools but after I had my trial lesson with Janna I was pretty sure I wanted to follow her singing lesson. I quickly felt at ease. From August I have every week singing Janna and I am still very happy. While singing I worry head to me and I can be I Want. I also really like the fact that I am learning the techniques for the specific songs, so that it is easier to apply and I understand it faster. I've become more confident and more recently for the first time occurred. This I could never have done without me singing follow here!

As an au pair I lived in Leeuwarden and in that time I took singing lessons with Janna. Both Janna and Sietze (with whom I had contact about the registration and the planning of the lessons) received me very warmly and enthusiastically from the beginning at Zang Instituut Friesland. What made me feel at home from the start! I have little experience with other singing teachers but I have the idea that Janna and Sietze both make more effort for and are more involved with their students than the average music teacher. In addition to a respectful and relaxed atmosphere during the singing lessons, they were also very helpful outside of the singing lessons (eg when I was busy getting familiar with Leeuwarden). :) Unfortunately my au pair adventure is over and my singing lessons are coming to an end, but I am very happy with what I have learned from Janna lately and I hope that the next singing teacher I will meet with so much attention!

For years I wanted to get singing lessons. But I never had the guts to sing a single sentence for a person. Let alone that I really dare to take singing lessons. Yet I started taking classes at Femke. They are very nice and trusted lessons. You dare to trust your voice in different areas, but you also gain confidence. Femke helped me well with the final performance of every season. I would certainly never have done this without her. Thanks for everything.

Partly because of Janna singing has become a part of my life, together with her we started looking for my identity as a starting singer. Within the lessons, the focus is on learning singing techniques, you learn to experience the music differently and you are encouraged and supported to take on new challenges. In short .. this is a place where you discover what kind of music suits you and how you can express that through singing!

I have had so many wonderful lessons. I have learned that singing is not "working" but that it must above all be relaxed and enjoyable. and I certainly experienced that. Thanks to Janna I have gained more confidence to use my voice.
