Only go here if your trigger-happy Pieter wants to pop a hole in your earlobe, he cannot pierce. You would think that 20 years of experience makes someone good, but nothing could be further from the truth. This man has proven to me that experience can say very little, it can also be 20 years of wrong or bad experience. I came for a septum piercing, stood outside half an hour later with a hole in my cartilage, blood stains in my shirt and a bag of cotton wool and tissues from the shop to dab the serious bleeding away. It started well, everything was disinfected correctly, but then he soon started with the big shot. He has not or hardly looked at where the piercing should be placed beforehand, and has not discussed this with me either. He then did not put any markers and actually immediately started working on a needle and a piece of cork for when the needle comes out on the other side. He also said why, according to him it was difficult to see or feel in advance where it should happen, he would simply have to find a hole with the needle. Well, he found that hole, after drilling it through my cartilage himself. CRACK! A septum piercing does not belong through the cartilage, but through the soft tissue, he said that beforehand. But what he did next was; a septum piercing in 2 injections. This is a sign that it is being pierced incorrectly; First you pierce the tissue, then you have to apply quite a bit of force to get through the cartilage. That's what happened, he even missed his cork on the other side and shot straight into my nostril. Worst of all, after he stood and watched in shock after piercing way too high in the middle of the nose, he thought it was perfectly placed. According to him it had gone perfectly and I couldn't get a nicer place. Only one problem, he didn't have rings big enough for this high hole. This is where my visit to Kody Piercing ended, with a badly bleeding hole in my cartilage, and no septum piercing. In the conversation after that, he apologized for the fact that he just pierced me without the right rings. I had to come back later so that he could order bigger rings. This is not how a piercer is supposed to act.

Kody Piercing is definitely not recommended if you want to have a piercing expertly set up. After looking on the website I came to the conclusion that with Kody Piercing the ears and nose are both being shot. This was something I absolutely did not want, but decided to give the shop a chance and call for more information. On the phone asked if sir would like to pierce instead of shooting. I was told that this would certainly be possible, so an appointment was made to have my nose and earlobes pierced. Once at the piercing shop it soon became clear that the gentleman was not going to pierce me and tried to convince me, despite the earlier conversation on the phone, that shooting would be much better than piercing, where he would find his own stranger " reasons "for. (For those who don't know why shooting with a gun is bad, here is a short explanation: When putting a piercing, a hollow needle is used. This is done so that a small piece of tissue is removed, making room for the jewelry The wound can heal well, but with the use of a firing gun this is not the case, the jewelery is shot with great force straight through the tissue, leaving no room for the jewelery and therefore In addition, it is also the case that a shooting gun can never be 100% sterilized and is therefore much less hygienic, which also increases the risk of infection.) After having indicated several times that I would have preferred my ears and nose to be pierced, sir both shot. In the end I felt totally uncomfortable, and I didn't dare say no anymore. After the shooting, the gentleman gave advice for cleaning the piercing, which was also totally incorrect. Mr. has wanted to make it clear several times how long and much experience he already had, and that he therefore knew what he was talking about. I couldn't believe other piercing shops and the internet, they are all wrong. So you see, experience says pretty little in this area. In short: do your reasearch well before you get pierced somewhere, and if you do it, not at Kody Piercing!
