Awesome pub in the woods, great access point for the Dwingelderveld nature conservation area. Good food, play area for the kids, fantastic atmosphere with wood fires on cold days (both inside and outside).

Atmosphere great. Good selections of beer. Kids play outside in playground or the woods. Was here last summer as well by bike. Also great on the terrace.

Beautifully located restaurant in the middle of the woods. Very cosy outdoor seating with enough shade. The inside is also beautifully decorated. The dishes are fairly priced and reasonably big. Waiters were very friendly too!

This is a wonderful place tucked away in the woods. The food was good and the server was patient with us, as we do not speak Dutch. We did not realize they do not take credit cards (at least not our American cards). They allowed us to come back and pay. We are eternally grateful for this. 🙂
