Go to jail, have a good time! This place is wonderful for scaring children straight or getting inspiration for a nice evening. It goes into great detail about past and contemporary prisons and the justice system (in the Netherlands). The audio tour is very well done. Check out the bostoren nearby also, for great views.

Nice museum with interactive components. The only reason why I gave a 4/5 was that the first part of the museum is about torture and torture/punishment devices. These really gave me some stomach ache just thinking about it. The bus tour with the “boevenbus” was a lot of fun and the guide had a lot interesting information and spoke very clearly. Corona rules are well followed by the personnel and touchscreen services have cleaning wipes next to them.

Loved my time here when I came last year. I wasn't too impressed with the flies in the little house we stayed in but it's part of living in a rural area. :) Thank you for your hospitality.

I am impressed how the set up of the museum is. The museum is really informative of the history in the Netherlands about prison and the law. It was educational and impressive at the same time. If you wanna learn something about prison i would certainly recommend the museum! Thanks to everybody who works at the museum.
