Koetshuis De Burcht VOF

When in Leiden we always stop for lunch at the Koetshuis. It is a historical building in the centre of town at the bottom of the historical tower. The food is varied but we always go the typical Dutch lunch : in winter erwtensoep (pea-soup) and an "uitsmijter" ( brown bread with fired eggs, cheese and ham).

Great food but the service just sucked a ton.

Nice place for lunch! Good selection of sandwiches, the food we had was reasonably priced and if you have a chance, you should sit outside to get most of the good location.

One of a famous restaurant in Leiden. - Style : Dutch's restaurant. - Menu : Burgers, various kinds of steak, salads. 3 - 5 dishes cause dinners are also available. - Beverages : Wine, beer, soft drinks, coffee. - Seat : ~ 80 seats. - Waiting time to serve : 15 - 20 mins. - Queueing time : almost no queue. - Access : 15 by walk from Leiden central station.
