Good camping

Eery. So eery. Haunted by the souls of campers past who came with hopes and dreams of water based fun (as promised), and with any general happiness that people once had before coming here. If it wasn't for the green grass and blossoming trees, you'd think it was December. I could hear laughter of children from somewhere, I think they were ghosts. The grand cafe was anything but, it once had its day but it's been shut for years now. The men's toilet and showers obviously has some sinister secrets and was locked, upon notifying reception the large Dutch lady didn't blink and said yeah, you use the ladies. Cold water is free. Hot water costs a magic medallion which can be bought for a Euro at reception. But only purchase your magic penny after inspection of the amenity cubicles. I personally made the mistake of the reluctantly buying my water-coin and then wondering over to the toilet-paper-free cubicles and found I had walked into the 1990 Frank Marshall film, arachnophobia. But it was real. You know when you look up at he stars and it takes a moment to notice one but from noticing one you start to notice more and more of the twilight beauties. It's the same for these, but they don't just come out at night to haunt you and not are they beautiful. There's thousands, everywhere. Since what I can only imagine was a radiation disaster that describes what turned this place into a ghost town, it has never been cleaned and has now been taken over by giant mutant spiders. With giant webs. I opened the door to the toilet facilities and found myself entangled in a web of nightmares. Small children would not have stood a chance. To summarise, there's something weird happening here. There's lots of traffic in and out the gate. The gate which you're given to get in and out so the owner can track exactly who is there. However it's free to use so I did intend to open and close the gate barrier as much as possible before leaving. But lots of traffic and no people. There were some old ladies sat on some benches on the walk to the cafe. I should have checked if they were still there and real and alive. I saw some very nice cars and odd groups of odd men lingering and leaving. Something strange is going. I can only advise to steer extremely clear of this place, unless you intend to find yourself in the real life version of 'The hills have eyes'.
