Toy Museum Deventer

Too bad the collection is rarely updated. But it is a nice little museum. Especially the section on early imagery and films is worth the visit.

This is a perfect compact museum for kids. The surrounding area is nice too. Sometimes there's free play with traditional toys on the market square 50m away

This is a great place to visit with kids or even adults who want a bit of childhood nostalgia. It is a smallish museum that covers a few different floors over two adjoining buildings so you go up one side then down the other. Lots of toys to look at and a few you can play with. It was a quick visit for me using the Dutch museumkaart.

A cool place, though in Dutch only. Lots of different toys through the times, though quite heavy on the early 20th and late 19the centuries. friendly staff. Haven't tried their coffee yet.

It's okay. Interesting I guess, but not a museum to loose hours in.
