Landal De Vlinderhoeve

Nice place to stay, modern houses and great landscaping. This place is partially under construction. There are hardly any facilities so it’s really all about the house (Dec 2020). I recommend to stay in the lower (see the landal map) part of the village, and only directly at the lake or near the fringe of the park. All other cottages have little privacy. One side borders a campsite which is not part of Landal and looks run down. The newest part with the 4-6 and 6 person cottages has construction work going on, is more cramped and lacks any landscaping. A few cottages are gems, so do your homework and book a specific one in advance.

The bungalow itself was nice, clean, pretty. But to be honest we had the worst weekend ever in this vacationpark. I came with my husband and 2,5 years old daughter, hoping to get some quiet-relaxing weekend for a while. We took bungalow number 110, it's been 2 nights in a row we couldn't sleep properly, my daughter also annoyed with the super noisy sounds from "our neighbours" here...which is apparently looked some kind of bar or outdoor party, the music were loud, we heard people laughing, screaming, etc. They played the musics (techno, disco) until really late, after midnight. We couldn't take a rest at all on our vacation. For sure, we won't back again here.

Give it a miss. I booked to stay here via Dutchen - who offer luxury holiday chalet/houses. Their website made it known that building work was still happening on site, however, that doesn’t explain the whole truth. This is a small, old and dated campsite that could be quaint but the facilities do not reflect the prices Dutchen charges for their holiday houses. The swimming pools are in dire need of maintainence and renovation. In particular, the children’s paddling pool, which had areas of green build up. Not so safe for young children. All in all I felt very deceived and did not feel I got what I paid for.

Quite park for rest seekers

Beautiful park with beautiful accommodations. Do you want to enjoy nature, and do you like peace and quiet, then this park is highly recommended.
