Last year I was treated by Dr Slot for fatigue, on the advice of an acquaintance. Doctor lock offers 'integral' medicine. However, upon entering I was unaware that integrated medicine is another word for pseudo-scientific medicine. I was not told that for my treatments there was no scientific evidence of their effectiveness. I find this very detrimental, since doctor Slot offers regular medicine in addition to integral medicine as a general practitioner. By not making a clear distinction here, he creates a false confidence in his treatments, because patients rely on the expertise of their doctor. As a treatment, I followed a certain diet for a few months based on the results of a food intolerance blood test. This gave no results and after this I was advised to take milk thistle. The cost of this last 10-minute consultation was 32.90 euros. You do not have to have studied to provide this information, but thanks to his doctor's title Slot can charge high prices. I could have received the same advice from the average homeopath for a third of that price. I don't blame Dr. Slot for practicing pseudo-scientific medicine. I do blame him for not being open about the fact that there is no evidence that these treatments work, and that he makes no clear distinction between mainstream and alternative medicine.

From an emotional 74 years back to my 47 years! How is it ... Searched for years for my fatigue problem. Is it the side effect after my radiation, is it the transition, are they relationship problems? Years searched and now found. I came there for a chronic breast infection and after a few treatments I got rid of it but to my surprise I also regained my energy (and therefore a part of my life). What is the cause? My food. Intolerance to different products. After 5 weeks of dieting I got rid of my complaints. It still feels like a miracle and I am very happy with Dr. Slot (say René). He has a gift as a doctor and is a very friendly person. Thanks René
